Spring is upon us and with it comes local events celebrating the season. In addition to warm weather, you’ll find a host of events throughout the area. Let’s dive into a few exciting events happening during springtime in Central Florida.
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival (March 2- July 4, 2022)
This festival favorite offers lots of outdoor kitchens, special merchandise, concerts, topiary displays, exhibits, and gardens. EPCOT really comes alive with this beautiful festival of vibrant flowers and plants. Also, there is plenty of time to experience this festival as it lasts over four months. This is one of my favorite EPCOT festivals. The park becomes so colorful and the food options display some of the best springtime produce and flavors.
Mardi Gras at Universal Orlando (February 5- April 24, 2022)
This event has already started but is slated to last through the end of April. We were very impressed by Mardi Gras at Universal and all that it has to offer, most especially, its impressive concert lineup. SeaWorld Orlando Seven Seas Food Festival (Thursdays-Sundays, February 4- May 8, 2022)
SeaWorld offers another great event that has already started but will last throughout most of springtime. The SeaWorld Seven Seas Food Festival offers 200+ food and beverage items and 28 live concerts. Shows include local artists in addition to well-known names such as Everclear, Flo Rida, and Three Dog Night.
Busch Gardens Food & Wine Festival (Select Dates March 11- May 22, 2022)
Beginning in March and running through the end of May is the Busch Gardens Food & Wine Festival. Known as Tampa Bay’s Favorite Spring Festival, this event showcases extensive food and drink menus, bourbon and wine tastings, and lots of entertainment. Concerts include a variety of tribute bands as well as some well-known headliners such as 3 Doors Down, Kansas, and Clint Black.
Florida Strawberry Festival, Plant City (March 3-13, 2022)
The Florida Strawberry Festival is an 11-day event taking place in Plant City, Florida. This event boasts lot of food, exhibits, youth livestock shows, carnival rides, and live concerts. Some of the headline entertainment includes The Beach Boys, Lee Greenwood, Boyz II Men, Sammy Hagar, and more.
Central Florida Fair (March 3-13, 2022)
Celebrating its 110th year, the Central Florida Fair will take place this March in Orlando. At the fair, you can expect food, livestock shows, vendors, competitions, rides, games, entertainment, and more. Tickets can be purchased online for only $10. This fair represents one of the largest livestock shows in the states.
