For most people, Kissimmee, FL is known for its more reasonably priced hotels, restaurants, and souvenir shops. It sits along Highway 192 (Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy). However, this area is much more than that. Maybe you are looking for something near Disney World for a more reasonable price. Kissimmee might be the place to look. Kissimmee is one of the most accessible cities for homeownership in Orlando. My favorite neighborhoods are The Oaks, Cypress Reserve, Weston Reserve, and Indian Point. Expect to find a home below the Orlando median home price here.

On average, Kissimmee is 12 miles from Walt Disney World. It is 14 miles from Orlando International Airport. And it is 18 miles from Universal Orlando.
