Five Disney Adjacent Restaurants For Your Next Special Occasion

A few weeks ago, we covered five Disney restaurants that locals should try. We thought it would be fun to explore some of the other options on Disney property. While these places aren’t located at Disney resorts, they are still fantastic places to eat at resorts still within the Disney bubble. Here are our top five choices for Disney adjacent restaurants you should try for your next special occasion.

Bull & Bear, Waldorf Astoria

With Victoria & Albert’s still being closed, Bull & Bear is up there as one of the best overall dining experiences at Disney. Similarity, it’s perfect for special occasions. But even better, it’s much more affordable than Victoria & Alberts. Bull & Bear offers a great menu, fantastic service, and the complete experience with many dishes prepared and served tableside. Some of my personal favorite dishes are the fried chicken, tableside Caesar salad, and pasta explosion appetizer. It’s a little bit of a fancier meal, but definitely a great place for a special date night out. Reservations can be made on Open Table or My Disney Experience. Be sure to check both!

Il Mulino, Swan Hotel

The restaurants in the Swan & Dolphin are easy to get to and are great places to dine. Located within walking distance from EPCOT, BoardWalk, and Beach Club, you’ll find one of my favorite places to eat on property, Il Mulino. Inside the Swan Hotel, Il Mulino is an Italian New York based restaurant. If you can’t get into Topolino’s, Il Mulino is a perfect substitution with a lot more options. I love the pastas, bread service, and the many other dishes. They have a large menu and our service has always been exceptional. It’s definitely something that should be on your list to try. Reservations can be found on both Open Table and My Disney Experience.

Shula’s, Dolphin Hotel

Inside the Dolphin, you’ll find an award winning steakhouse honoring Coach Don Shula and the Miami Dolphins. Our experience at Shula’s has been great. We experienced perfectly cooked steaks, tasty sides, and rich desserts. I highly recommend the French onion soup, ribeye, and the chocolate lava cake. Shula’s is a good option if you’re looking for special occasion dining or even just a great dinner. Reservations are available on Open Table and My Disney Experience.

Kimonos, Swan Hotel

If you’re looking for sushi, Kimonos has you covered. Inside the Swan Hotel, this restaurant has won Best Sushi in Orlando for it’s fresh and authentic Japanese sushi. Kimonos doesn’t take reservations and is a small and intimate restaurant. Therefore, we recommend showing up when they open at 6pm or visiting on a week day evening.

Ravello, Four Seasons

Inside the Four Seasons, you will find another great Italian restaurant. And it’s open for both breakfast and dinner. Plus, on Saturdays they offer a character breakfast- Good Morning Breakfast with Goofy and His Pals. Dinner features a wood burning over, homemade pastas, pizzas, seafood, steak, and seasonal specialties. Their executive chef, Fabrizio Schenardi, hails from Torino, Italy. Ravello is another great option to add to your list for breakfast or dinner. Ravello is the only one of these that I haven’t had the pleasure to try yet, but I added it to the list because of the great reviews it has and because it’s high on our list to try for our next special occasion.
